As some of you know, I have been working on a think tank idea along with fellow musician and enterpreneur Pete Brach. We are continually developing ideas and due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to meet in person Sunday so instead we are holding a conference call at 5 p.m. Pacific time. Below is information about that and a note from Pete.

My eighty-two year old Mom needs my help, so I am unexpectedly stuck on the East Coast. Consequently, instead of meeting at Paty’s, we will be holding a conference call instead. The call will be at the same exact time and date: 5:00 P.M. PST., this Sunday, June 14. We will reschedule another face-to-face meeting at Paty’s or another convenient place for L.A. people to meet in the near future.
Here is all that you need to know to participate in the conference call: 1. At 5:00, this Sunday, call (712) 432-1438.
2. It will ask you to put in an access code. Put in 277733 followed by the # key. DO NOT FORGET THE # KEY!
3. You will be asked your name.
4. We will be told that you have entered the conference call.
I sincerely hope that all of you will participate in this call. We have some very potent ideas to share and are eager to get your feedback and ideas as well. Together we can create Greater Good United. Together, we can make a difference! This Sunday is the first step!

One of my hometowns Indianapolis features one of the oldest modern age sporting events in the world on a track that is now 100 years old! 2009 is the year of the 98th running of the THE INDIANAPOLIS 500 automotive race. See my video series (featured below) about the greatest spectacle in racing and the 500 month long festival.
The think tank GREATER GOOD UNITED will meet for the first time in Burbank, California on Sunday June 14th. More details are forthcoming! When everyone does a little we will do a lot!
I have started a new series of video shorts called NISWANDER ROCK THEATER SHORTS and will be bringing back NISWANDER SHORTS as well for all of those short attention span folks out there. There is a lot of music and entertainment that you may not yet have heard and seen so certainly a DVD project is still in development as well as new music and a new band.
There are a lot of exciting things going on…stay tuned for more news as it happens!

What is the Greater Good United all about? It is a think tank being created with the idea that change isn’t just about thoughful dialogue, ACTION IS ALSO NEEDED and SOON! Here is a short minute and a half video that explains the basic ideas behind the creation of GGU and why we are seeking professionals and volunteers to partner with who are already engaged in the work at hand.
Pete Brach and I currently are seeking to initially put together a core group of individuals with complimentary talents, skills and experience who are passionate about what concerns millions of people right now. MAYBE YOU’RE THINKING ALONG THESE SAME LINES AND WANT TO BE IN A ROOM WITH OTHERS WHO SEE THE PRESENT NEEDS OF HUMANKIND AS OUR UNIFIED CAUSE. We want to meet here in California in the Hollywood area for the first time this summer and are still looking for a meeting place. We look forward to hearing from you.

A lot of social networking is going on right now. Proposals for the think tank idea Greater Good United that were written primarily by my great friend and entrepreneurial collaborator Pete Brach were finished recently. Links are now up on my website!

The economy is on a lot of people’s minds. It is time to bring serious like-minded professionals and volunteers together to create plans and strategies and then implement them so that we can help those who are suffering, clean up the environment, improve our health care (and the system) and get millions of people back to work (into GREAT employment opportunities not just jobs). CHECK IT OUT and let us know what you think…even get involved… a little or a lot. WHEN EVERYONE DOES A LITTLE WE WILL DO A LOT!
New music is in the works and a new band will be a part of that. It just takes a lot of work and patience. It is spring (seems like summer today in Southern California) and great things are happening. I performed “Everyone” at Sunset Gulch in Hollywood Saturday night and saxophonist John Hoaglund joined me on the solo section. The room reminded me of Moe and Johnny’s in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis (David Letterman’s old neighborhood) when I performed my one man show there after the release of my first CD. Speaking of the one man show, I am currently seeking a venue to perform this in the L.A. area. Stay tuned for updates on this and other music news including LA-LA.

Everyone is talking about the sluggish economy, the environment, health care, homelessness, social networking, etc. Real problems need real solutions.
